Hej WD TV fans :)

Så skulle der være en opdatering på vej, inklusive de to featuers vi har savnet meget: DTS og ethernet -  hurra!

Trist hvis firmware udviklingen for WD1 kommer til at gå endnu langsommere, nu hvor der er kommet en storebror.

Jeg har ikke hørt om nogen ny opdatering til WD-1.  Kun at der er en ny udgave af WD på vej !!

Jeg håber da ikke at de så stopper med at lave opdateringer til WD-1, men jeg er da også bange for at det kan ske

Ja der er en ny udgave på vej med Netværk, HDMI 1.3, Component og composiste udgang og support for DTS stero ligesom på Xtreamer og Popcorn. den kommer til at hedde WD TV (TM) Live Media Player Den ser rigitg sød ud og den får også en lillebror som hedder WD TV(TM) Mini Media Player

det er jo ikke en officiel udmelding fra western digital så det er lidt svært at sige, hvornår de 2 nye afspillere kommer i Danmark, Prisen i usa er gættet til at være omkring $150. I dk koster wdtv1 664 kr, så mon ikke den komer til at være lige under de 999 dkr ?

wd tv mini er allerde ude nu, så mon ikke vi ser wdtv 2 aka live inden for et par måender?

fik jeg fortalt at den nye wdtv live også kan klare filstyring, dvs at man kan kopiere slette og flytte fra netværk drev til wdtv usb harddsik med mere.

seneste rygter om wd tv live


The release date for this keeps getting pushed back. We've had 9-Sep, 21-Sep, and now early October. Rumours abound as to why this is. One credible explanation is that Western Digital have seen the flood of new players using new chipsets and have pulled the leaked version of the WDTV Live realising that it couldn't compete. In a way we hope this is the case and when the WDTV2 is released it will be a decent product. When there is more news you'll find it here.
